CROSSING TIME ZONES
I took this photo in November 2008 at the end of an expedition cruise at the southern tip of South America. After four days of sailing the Straits of Magellan and the Beagle Channel, stopping at Cape Horn and other remote spots, we arrived in Ushuaia, Argentina, on the southern coast of Tierra del Fuego Island. Generally considered the southernmost city in the world, Ushuaia is located at latitude 54°48′ south and longitude 68°18′ west. Its population is estimated at just over 63,000.

Great shot Annika, very “Novemberish” view of the Ushuaia Bay!
